What we will study this week:

We will take the Unit 3 test on Monday, and then on Wednesday, we will start Unit 5 (Airport Jobs).
We will talk about and practice for the Speaking Assessment in Week 8.

  1. Using your cellphone, take a photo of each of the three (3) community places in your neighborhood that are among your favorites (Irene will show you examples).

 

You will talk about these cellphone photos with a tester/teacher.  Here 

are some of the important things you need to talk about during your 

Assessment:

 

  • What is the name of the place?  Where is its location?
  • Describe the place. Use “There is” and/or “There are”
  • Talk about 3 objects in each of the photos
  • Use some prepositions of location (in, on, next to, in front of, in the corner of, behind)
  • How often do you go?
  • Would you recommend that other students visit this place? Why?
