The college’s leadership in sustainability has resulted in numerous awards and recognition:

  • Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ was the 4th college nationwide to become and is also Tree Campus USA certified;
  • PCC Rock Creek Learning Garden received the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE) 2015 for addressing food insecurity among students;

  • PCC’s 2021 Climate Action Plan: Resiliency, Equity and Education for a Just Transition was used as a case study example in Second Nature’s report, in 2022;
