Some new students took the CASAS test.  Other students practiced on the computer.  Everyone will take the CASAS test again in Week 9 to see how much you have learned.

Davida returned your First Day Questionnaires and alphabet homework.  Please read Davida’s comments carefully and ask if you have any questions.  Some students need more practice writing their letters correctly.  It takes time to get better and faster, but it’s important for your writing to be clear and correct.

1.  Study for Quiz 2 on the BE verb, negatives, and contractions.

2.  Complete pages 12-16 in the textbook.  Email or text Davida photos of your work.  Read the directions carefully.  Check your work with eagle eyes.  Use the audio.

1.  Some students went to Fran’s conversation group in Tabor.  This is a time to practice speaking and listening with other ESOL students.  It will happen every Wednesday from 11:30 – 12:30.

2.  You can also come to the ESOL Club every Tuesday at 2:00 pm to practice English, make friends, and have fun doing fun activities.
