Media Services has licensing for both a Webinar account that supports up to 1000 participants, and a Meeting account that supports 500. We can assist in the setup of a large-scale online event. Allow sufficient time for planning and scheduling your event. High capacity, high-profile events may take over a month to schedule and prepare. Smaller events may take up to a week.

Digital Wall

The Digital Wall is a set of large-screen video monitors set in a 2×2 grid. The system uses a vendor (Userful) application to display advanced video content across the digital wall. There is also an audio component to play sound files in conjunction with the video exhibit. Those interested in displaying Digital Wall video exhibits should work with the Art and Design program staff. The Digital Wall is available at the Paragon Art Gallery on the Cascade campus.

Most PCC classrooms include presentation podiums with Windows PC (or OSX), monitor, document camera, DVD player, Laser projector, Large screen and auxiliary inputs for Video in, USB, VGA with 1/8″ audio. Digital podiums equipment rooms have all these features as well, and include Blu-ray/DVD player (no VHS) and HDMI input.

Audio-Visual Equipment Delivery

Media Services provides equipment delivery for classes or special events. While most classrooms have resident podium and presentation equipment, equipment available for delivery includes carted computer with LCD projector, VHS/DVD player, Document camera, Flat panel TV on cart, Flip chart stand, Polycom phone, Portable projection screen, Sound system (amp, mixer, speakers, microphone).

Web Conferencing

PCC uses two different solutions for web conferencing including Google Meet for standard, informal, ad-hoc meetings and Zoom for online courses and more formalized meetings such as hiring forums and larger event needs.

Google Meet is free with your PCC Google account and integrates well with PCC email and calendaring. Zoom requires a special license with an annual charge for hosting meetings. IT Media Services does have a Zoom license per campus for web conferencing ad hoc requests, please use the AV Equipment Request form to engage with Media Services staff on your planned event.

This service is ideal for meetings as Web conferencing supports live audio and video and features desktop, application sharing, and chat. Web conferencing participants can join from any desktop or laptop computer with a high-speed Internet connection and a web browser.

Digital Signage

Carousel (commonly referred to as Digital Signage) is an enterprise digital signage platform that provides a central application to manage a digital signage solution across an entire campus. Those interested in posting content to advertise an event, etc. on digital signage can do so via a form submission process (link below) which must be approved by PCC Print Center. Digital signage can be found at most PCC locations.
