Details about this class
This class includes three major, researched speeches, and several minor and/or impromptu speeches. We spend time early in the term discussing anxiety, and I take pride in creating a warm, welcoming environment for students to experiment with expressing messages through public speaking.
Laptops and other electronics are prohibited, unless we are working on speeches in class, or permitted by accommodations.
Regular tardiness impacts grade; a maximum of five absences permitted.

Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class.
