Details about this class
The weekly online meetings in this course are optional for attending live, though students are encouraged to attend if they can make it. During each class session there will be a "lecture" portion which will be recorded, and those who were not present will be expected to watch the recording. There will also be a "discussion" portion during each session in which students can earn discussion points for the week. For those unable to attend, the discussion points can be earned in a written discussion.
Technology
- You will need software to create and edit documents, such as Microsoft Word, OpenOffice Writer, or Google Docs.
- Further software may be required for specific labs. Any installation / use instructions will be given in the lab, and you are free to remove the software afterwards.
No show policy
Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class.
