Details about this class

20 hours of participation in an approved licensed program OR the PCC Sylvania Child Development Center/Lab School  is required to pass the course.  Students will need to make arrangements for observations. Observations will occur weekly throughout the term and be divided into 2 – 2.5 hours block each week. Observations cannot be lumped together, and must occur over the course of the term.  You will need to observe children no younger than 12 months of age, and no older than 5 years of age (not yet kindergarten). Observations must be with a consistent group of children and cannot be the class you regularly teach if you are working in the field. Observation plans must be confirmed no later than the end of the second week of the term.  

Technology

There is no additional technology required for this class.

No show policy

Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class. It is important to log in as soon as the class starts to see what the participation requirements are.
