Details about this class

Participating in cooperative education such as internships is a great way to get work experience, continue to develop your business skills, and build your resume.  In this course, I work as a mentor overseeing your cooperative education experience.  To do that, we will work together on the following:

  • You will complete a weekly report detailing your work activities for the week, the number of hours worked, and your progress towards your cooperative education learning objectives.
  • I will read your weekly report and provide comments on your progress.
  • As you reach the midpoint of your work hours, we will meet (either in person or through zoom) to review your learning objectives, your progress, and ensure you are on track to complete your cooperative education assignment successfully.
  • I will complete a site visit at the end of the term to meet with the supervisor.

Technology

There is no additional technology required for this class.

No show policy

Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class. It is important to log in as soon as the class starts to see what the participation requirements are.
