PCC sponsors upcoming MLK Dream Run at Cascade

The Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ community will have the chance to participate in the .
The weekend celebration happens on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 17-18 at Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ’s Cascade Campus. The races (walk, 5K, 10K, 15K) are on Sunday. New PCC President Dr. Adrien Bennings will be on hand for the festivities.
This year, Tthe MLK Dream Run, which PCC is a co-sponsor, has a theme of “Environmental Justice ” with the tagline #EarthNeedsAllies. Each year this race pays respect to Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s vision of a just and equitable world for all to share and steward. Funds benefit the Soul District Youth Entrepreneur Training Programs, which are designed to help low-income and minority youth (ages 16-24) improve and expand the skills they need to operate successful businesses.
