I saw you get honors at the PCC Foundation ceremony, and hear about how active you were in your community. I also saw you humbly working with the guys doing after hours work just before Winter break. I really enjoy these stories about our individual students. They are so inspirational and we get to read about where they started from and where they hope to go! It is amazing to me to read about there journeys and I only want to root for them to succeed.
I have met Lilly Boone, but I never would have guessed her story. She told me she was in the AM program, and I knew she worked here at PCC full time, and I told her how much I admire her for doing that, but I had no idea about where she came from, or how she came to be here at PCC and why she wanted to become a mechanic. It is fascinating to me about how much I learned about her by reading this bio of her and her journey. I think it is so amazing that she want to convert a school bus to a mobile automobile shop. That is genius. I will support Lilly in whichever way I can. I really want her to win! Go Lilly! You are Bad-Ass!!!
