if its bad, they can get feedback instantaneously, just that how well they can deal with constructive or plain “aggressive” criticism .

Most PCC math instructors go above and beyond with creating innovative ways of teaching and great notes for students. We were inspired by others in our department to do this and are so fortunate to work with such a talented bunch!

I had her for an online math class for Math 111. She was so sweet and truly helpful not only with my math but with personal issues I was having outside of class. I am determined to take her for math in the fall regardless of her being at Rock Creek and I living in Troutdale. She had that much of an impact on my life. :)

I’m very proud of her and am not at all surprised that she would be a part of this achievement.

It is big deal with math at Pcc. Only few great teachers really stand out and make the difference. Many are good, but their style of teaching may be confusing and harder, thus making a student taking Math hate it. Im all for making things different and more understanding to learn. Thank you !

He’s been using similar approaches for quite sometime.

He does more to set up students for success than any Instructor I’ve ever had — and did 6 years as an undergrad & grad, so that’s sayin’ sumthin’ ;^)

This is a huge step forward for the Math Department at PCC, a lot of teachers notice the gap between success and failure is growing and have stepped up to provide students means to learn math in a way that makes sense. Maybe in a few years the math department will have math books made by the teachers for all of PCC? :-)
