With the recent growth of the SE Center Campus, I am wondering if there will be any changes to the tutoring Center? My number one issue with it is the size and the round tables which are not large enough to fit students who may be struggling in their classes. I see many students just look in, shake their head and walk by because there just is no room. We need rectangular tables and we need some kind of system for letting tutors know that others need help. Look to Sylvania Campus for better ideas! Thanks!

Continued: I reference them because of perceived excellence in addressing the needs of the community. There is certainly no harm in exploring resources when brainstorming for solutions. Thank you again.

Thank you for recognizing the needs of non-traditional students.I see the reference to older students returning after a layoff but have you considered those who are attempting to re-train whill still currently employed? For example, my AAS plan is for ,Mechanical Engineering but there is nothing available in the evening at Sylvania Campus this winter session, which is the only time and place that I can attend without experiencng job conflicts. Doubtless I am not the only “old” guy facing this dilemma. Also am unable to meet with advisors unless I take off work, Is there perhaps an “advisor night” in the future? Prior to relocating to Oregon I was a part-time student at Odessa College in Odessa Texas, a working-class town with in my opinion an outstanding Community College.

As a member of the PCC faculty, I would love to be able to participate in one of these discussions; I find it unfortunate that they all occur when most faculty are teaching or are conducting final exams. In the future, I would like to request that at least one of these forums occur at a time when the majority of faculty could attend, for example on a Friday or even a Saturday morning. Thanks!

I think we need to find away to help those with mental disabilities! The steps that are implemented aren’t working and we need to find away to help them more as well!
