Oops he got that a bit wrong. Yes it’s a very very mild hybrid but it does more than just provide auto start-stop. It does do regenerative braking and does provide some propulsion, but not much. Boosts EPA numbers from 19/26 to 25/32. The setup is similar to Buick’s e-assist.
