More than 140 eighth-graders have signed on to attend the new college-oriented magnet program at Portland’s Jefferson High schoolin the fall rather than their neighborhood high school, district officials said today.
That means Jefferson’s new program, to be run in partnership with neighboring Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ, proved somewhat more popular than district leaders had predicted for its inaugural year.
