Expert gardener Rod Smith teaches popular PCC class

BEAVERTON, Ore. – Horticulturist Rod Smith loves to teach. His passion for gardening inspires packed classes of aspiring green thumbs every term at Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ. This fall, catch the gardening inspiration yourself in his non-credit class, slated to begin in September.Home Gardening Series with Rod Smith will cover all aspects of planning your landscape with knowledge gained from this series of well-rounded topics. Students will understand how to know which plants grow best in their yards, actually experience a green lawn, add vivid color to gardens and bring "curb appeal"to their homes.The class will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays, Sept. 23 through Nov. 25, in Room 1508 of PCC’s Washington County Workforce Training Center, 18624 N.W. Walker Road.
