PR Pro Teaches How to Break into the Business

PORTLAND, Ore. – For the creative, strategic and communication-savvy, public relations just might be the perfect career field. Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ will offer the chance to explore public relations and just how to get your foot in the door when it comes to this highly competitive profession.Tom Unger, a local communications executive at Wells Fargo and veteran public relations practitioner, will offer expert advice in Introduction to Corporate Communications, a one-day, non-credit workshop. Whether it’s looking to move up from a junior position, or seeking sure-fire ways to get your resume noticed, students will come away armed with a comprehensive overview of this field and its many opportunities.The workshop will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 20, in Room 205 SCB of PCC’s Sylvania Campus, 12000 S.W. 49th Ave. Cost is $21.
