Jazz Piano Class Teaches 88 Keys to Enlightenment

PORTLAND, Ore. – Tatum, Monk, Lennie and more – learn how the jazz piano masters tickled the ivories and changed music history in Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ’s upcoming course. Instructor Jack Rubinger will cover 100 years of jazz tradition, teaching students how to identify and enjoy the intricacies of this American art form. Jazz Piano: 88 Keys to Enlightenment, a non-credit course, will meet from 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesdays, April 9 through May 14 in Room 116 of Wilson High School, 1151 S.W. Vermont.
