Stake Your Claim in PCC's Professional Development Series

LAKE OSWEGO – There is a special series available through Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ that can help professionals hone skills and learn more of how to deal with workplace politics. PCC’s Community Education program is offering the six-part, non-credit Professional Development Lecture Series for the fall. Topics of the non-credit lectures include Inner Strength During Outer Conflict (Sept. 27), Handling Awkward Moments (Oct. 11), Transcending Cynicism (Oct. 25), The Benefit of People Who Bug You (Nov. 8), Five-Day Productivity Plan (Nov. 22) and A New Leadership Model (Dec. 6).Students can pick up a delicious lunch at Nature’s and enjoy hearing the newest ideas in professional and personal development. A sort of, "Food for Thought." It’s a great way to put training and development into your workday. The Professional Development Lecture Series sessions are every Wednesday from noon to 1 p.m., starting Wednesday, Sept. 27 and ending Dec. 6. The fee for attending the entire series is $10, or $2 for each individual lecture. The lectures will be held at Nature’s in Lake Oswego, located at 17711 Jean Road.
