Women’s History Month is a celebration of women’s contributions to the history, culture and society of the United States.? It is a celebration of women who found a purpose in life and followed it.? In the words of Marie Curie “Life is not easy for any of us.? But what of that? We must have perseverance and above all confidence in ourselves. We must believe that we are gifted for something and that this thing must be attained.” Although there are thousands of women throughout American history worthy to be celebrated, each of the members of the Library Display Team selected a woman whom they personally admire to feature here.?
