April is . This month, learn about Autism and celebrate and support your students, classmates and community members on the spectrum.

The 2025 Community Report on Autism based on a 2022 study of 16 communities estimates that Autism Spectrum Disorder prevalence among children aged 8 years was 1 in 31 (3.2%) overall. This is not a single disorder, but a group of closely related disorders affecting how a child learns, interacts with others and communicates. Behaviors, abilities, and symptoms vary considerably creating unique challenges for intervention and treatment.
