Course Description
Intended Outcomes for the course
Upon completion of the course students should be able to:
- Explain significant local, national, and global issues related to women's health and well-being.
- Analyze how cultural, behavioral, environmental, and social factors impact women's health and well-being.
- Describe the causes and potential solutions for challenges to women’s health.
- Use information from credible research to identify skills and strategies for health promotion and disease prevention.
- Analyze the effects of androcentricity on women’s health and health care.
Social Inquiry and Analysis
Students completing an associate degree at Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ will be able to apply methods of inquiry and analysis to examine social contexts and the diversity of human thought and experience.
