To declare your program of study:

  1. Login to your and click Update your Degree and Major in the Term-to-Term channel or
  2. Call the Registration Helpline at 971-722-8888 (option 2) if you are unable to use the online form or want to add additional degree/majors or certificates.

Please note: Make sure you complete the program requirements as published in the academic catalog you are following. During your final term of your program of study, the Student Records office will review your academic history to confirm all requirements will be met for your degree or certificate. You will receive an email in confirming your final courses are in progress. If you are in your final term and do not receive an email by Week 8, contact your department or Student Records.

However, specific degrees, certificates, or coursework require a “C” or better. For example, the Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer Degree requires that all coursework be completed with a “C” or better, as does all Math and Writing Competency coursework.

Consult the section of the current for comprehensive degree requirement information. Also, if you are pursuing an Associate of Applied Science in one of the Career/Technical Education (CTE) programs, be sure to check the for that program. The following honors will be awarded:

  • Honor’s List: 3.25 – 3.49
  • Dean’s List: 3.50- 3.74
  • President’s List: 3.75 – 4.00

When grades have been posted at the end of each term, students who have achieved honors for that term will receive notification by their PCC email account. Honors designations will also appear on the academic transcript each term they are awarded.

I have failed a class twice. Your transcript will reflect each attempt, and your most recent grade will be the one used to calculate your GPA.

There are two things you should be aware of. The first is that if you are planning to transfer, the institution you transfer to may take the best grade, the most recent grade, or an average of all attempts. This is completely up to the transferring institution. The second is that some programs of study may limit the number of times you are allowed to re-take a course and continue to be eligible for that program.
