How do I sign up for Flash Alert?

PCC now has its own system for alerting students by text message.
- Go to the Emergency Preparedness and Response website.
- Scroll down to Sign up for Emergency Notifications.
- Click Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ for emergency notifications.
- Log in.
- Enter Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ.
- Ensure your contact information is accurate or add additional email addresses and mobile numbers.
- Test your mobile numbers and email addresses using the TEST button.
- Log out when you confirm all notifications are working for all your email addresses and mobile numbers.
Signing up for Flash Alert is simple, just go to the .
Flash Alert is a free service that PCC students, staff, and faculty can sign up for to get college closure information and warnings by email or as a text message. Flash Alert is used by college officials to warn about any emergency, from a common power outage or snowstorm to an active shooter or earthquake.
- Go to the .
- °ä±ô¾±³¦°ìÌýa region (e.g. Portland/Vancouver/Salem).
- Choose an Organization Category (or use the search feature to narrow your focus).
- Select a topic, such as Colleges and Universities -Public, or Clackamas County Schools
- Choose Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ (or whatever interests you)
- ·¡²Ô³Ù±ð°ùÌýyour email address where indicated.
- Check the box for Emergency Alerts and click ³§³Ü²ú²õ³¦°ù¾±²ú±ð.Ìý
